National Roofing Week: Helping Veterans
National Roofing Week, an initiative of National Contractors Roofing Association, continues to be great time to highlight the community spirit of roofers around the country.
In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, GAF Master Elite® Contractor, Monarch Roofing installed a new roof for local resident who recently fell ill.
“I was inspired by GAF and No Roof Left Behind, we are proud to have completed our first Free Roof for Troops to a local veteran of three wars,” said Martin Pettigrew, owner of Monarch Roofing.
Jack Marsden served two tours of duty in Vietnam, and the Gulf War.
We thank Pettigrew and the rest of the Monarch team for giving back to their community and helping local families.
Huge thanks from my side to the National Roofing Day founder. It is really inspirational for me. It is really a great job to help out local families.
What a great way to give back to the community and show your appreciation for our troops! Many thanks for being a great example of generosity in the roofing community.
Many thanks to the founder of National Roofing Day, at least veterans got help on the day and also people spend their day to help veterans.
